10:38 am: The heat has been too much, I'm a fairly hot running guy, in that I always need warmth. A point of which jen will never understand but even I'm going gah krank it down. Because of this heat work had been cruddy. There were 7 P.E's and myself on Wednesday. We were doing nothing. I might have sold like 1000 worth of product. The appliances guys were 200% to budget and constantly busy. The reason because we had air conditioners left right and center and considering air conditioners have 15 dollar comish, with the usual ability for a cut of psp. They were raking it in Wednesday.

I had to go to the post office yesterday because my mail keeps getting delivered to my old address, even though I have changed all the addresses gov, work, Fido, bank.

Jen and I along with a whack of her friends are going to Harry Potter tonight, while we are also going to bard on the beach the weekend of the 20th. I''m still settling in my new place, and the guard pigs are up.

Speaking of Jen, last weekend while she was helping me look for cheap stand-up lamps, we went to the cosign where she found not just one game she wanted but two. The first was shadow of the colossus which she really wanted because it had just went greatest game edition price. At Cosign, half off for 10 bucks. Then there was also katamri damacy, which you know is a short game because she has already finished it.

Also here is a fun little video,

Have a fun day

01:50 pm: My Edmonton Trip
Well I've been back for a few days so I have to talk about my Edmonton trip. First I would like to point out that the airport improvement fees and taxes were more than the actual ticket prices. So the plane ride there was great, even though we had to get up a 5 am. It was west jet so I half read a book half watched TV. So we got into Edmonton and my parents were already there so we met up with my parents had the hugs and heys all around. We went back to their house and got our room set up. Mom made puffy pancake which Jen had never had before. It was good but the oven wasn't hot enough so we didn't get enough of a puff. We then headed off to Ikea, because we just wanted to see what Ikea had. After we got back Jen and I had a nap because we were both tired. WE then went to a Vietnamese restaurant which is closed on Sundays because they didn't have enough staff to run it 7 days a week. Which is a very common problem, why would you want to work minimum wage when you can go to Fort McMurray and back oil field money? It’s so bad every 7-11 is advertising a 700 singing bonus. We went home and chilled. Sunday we went to see Hot Fuzz which is a fucking funny movie.
Great Dialogue
[Looking at a suspicious-looking passerby]
Nicholas Angel: All right, what about this guy? Ask yourself, why has he got his hat pulled down like that?
Danny Butterman: He's fuck-ugly.
Nicholas Angel: Or, he doesn't want you to see his face.
Danny Butterman: yeah, it's 'cause he's fuck-ugly.

On Monday we went to the west Edmonton mall, and unlike last time I wasn't sick as a dog so we actually went all around. They were shooting a new Chris kattan movie called Christmas in wonderland so it still had all the Christmas decorations that we saw the last time we were there. WE went to Earls for Lunch and they took forever, just like last time. so they must not like me there. After that Jen and I went to a shooting range that’s connected to the mall. The Wild West shooting gallery. We paid our fee bought a box of 50 9 mm shots and picked our targets; I got a zombie target while Jen had a bunch of four smaller targets. It was scary but fun, loading the ammo was the hardest part because when I was having trouble getting it in and I heard a shot I always jumped because I though I might have set off the bullet and shot myself via loading. but there was no accidents although the first shot I took the cartridge flew out and hit me in the eye goggles, so thank grud I was wearing it. I will take a picture of my poster and put it up. It was a lot of fun.

So Jen and I left at 8 and got back and 8 30 at night, I took a taxi home, and I've just been chilling, did my Tuesday and wends day shift, spend yesterday with Jen. We went to Yume downtown because it was new and it had some good food, we ordered a dinner for two special and got a metric ton of food. Sushi, karage, tempura, udon, green salad, miso. For like 21 bucks which isn't too bad.

Jen and I came back to my house and we had just started getting comfortable when the land lady told us that a viewed was going to be seeing the house in an hour so basically Jen and I had to stop what we were doing planning (edit:which wasn't anything dirty just geeky) and I had to get my room cleaned up do the dishes and other stuff like that and the best part is that the people didn't come until like 2 hours later.

01:05 am: No comment
There are some people who seem born to do what they do. Like destiny laid a hand on their shoulders and said "You, This, Now"It is as if their life has already focused on the beam of light coming from the finish. To these lucky few i say, "Fuck off". Be more like the rest of us. Bum around at a job you're incompetent at, please anything but be great.

All this brings me to my main topic, mainly sales and I aren't fit for each other. Z says give personalized, trusted service and the sales will come to you (somewhat), but I still feel like part of that is complete bull.
I know I don't want to be in sales, yet there are these obstacles that are getting in my way.

Like many things in life money is a big issue, first of all I need it. Sales lets me get it. At this point I could probably afford to quit, but this brings me to my second problem, quitting may make it harder for me to get that next job that pays better money and I like doing more.

"why did you quit?" I can see them asking "Because I arbitrarily decided I wanted to get the fuck out" I see myself answering. Not very helpful. Bundle all this in with the usual expenses, rent food, etc. and add to that a wedding, and just up and quitting isn't an option. but it also brings up something else.

Another concern is time, specific ly to do school, most of you know that I have been taking an accounting course, which I am supremely behind in. So much so that I am about to have to cough up more money in order to renew my time in the class and basically the job has been a big factor in why I have to do this. During December and January I was working 50+ hours a week, which killed me. Now that I'm just working 40ish hours it has improved a bit. But after the job I am so tired/stressed that I can't even look at those assignments. And my days off barely even let me get a scratch in against the tide of time. If I could pay someone to do the assignments and the exam for me I would seriously consider doing it. But finishing is important enough to me that I will finish it.

With one major exception, Jen, I don't like where I am in life, but I don't know if I can change it.

I know people, and their book, say I can. That "you" can control your life the way you want it and I would love to be able to do that, but I can't seem to...

It's dark and lonely where I am, but at least its somewhere.

10:49 pm: well I was late for work today, I thought I was starting at my usual time of 3 and so getting there by 2 I figured I could have some time to study the ads and the plays, and it turns out I should have been tehre at 1. So I apolagized to mark, who hadn't noticed I hadn't shown up and then I was promptly bored because there were 7 of us on the floor at the same time, and it was dead quiet. So I did my shift, left, got some groceries and I am now enjoying some nachos with seven layer dip. on a side note I hope refried beans are good for you.

11:58 am: I've think I've figured out why the house just doesn't seem to be moving. Turns out the realitor is a mega rageing bitch queen. She and a couple just finished a viewing and she has been yelling at my landladys parents for about 15 mins. Thinks I've heard because shes been yelling them "I don't make up stories, trust me" and do you want to sell this house?"

not to mention her breaking into my room while I was gone. Damm bitch

12:41 pm: Hey everyone its me. The major stuff is preety much the same, I still work at futureshop I'm still living at parkdale, I am healthy(boo-yah) Jen and I still engaged (double boo-yah). But lets face it that type of wide ranging update, just doesn't have the flavour or the texture of some good details. Futureshop had its christmas party on Sunday. It was at the alibi room which is in Gastown and it was an ok bar. They had guiness but it was only in the can, so I spent several hours worth of wages getting nicely inebreated. There were also draws, I won a 50 dollar gift card to the Keg, (which Jen and I, along with her family will already be going to next thursday) and one of the comp techs used to be a waiter their and said get the prime rib definitly the best thing on the menu. So thats cool, unless you knew the fact that the other draws were the new ipod shuffles, and the grand prize of the nintendo Wii. which makes my gift card seem a little paltry. Also because of the job I haven't been able to really get out on weekends, which is a bummer. But I swear when 300 comes out Jen and I are going to it. We are getting the biggest popcorn and pop, and dammed the money or the consequences of the imitation butter. The landlords are still showing the house off. so I'm not kicked out yet. Jen is in the middle of midterms, so has locked herself in her room to study. I miss you Jen. (heart emoticon that I dont remember how to make)
Grandma is having her 75th birthday next sunday, but the family threw her a party last sunday. So to surprise her mom flew back to Thunder Bay and surprised her at her surprise party. So she is doing good. Well they've finished showing the house for today so I have to get back to accounting. I want to get two assingments done today, which will take most of the day.

10:49 pm: Hey yo, its me.

Mom and Dad are doing well, and apparently I've hooked them onto watching the hour with George S. Jen and I went to Capones for dine out vancouver. The meal itself was really good, I had some bruschetta tapas to start, where the bread was ok, but the topping had just the right amount of tang to it. Jen had the spicy chicken skewers, which got better the more of them we had. She had the snapper palte, while I had beef striploin , both of which were very nice. We ordered two martinis each, but both time mine had like a half-cm less than hers, and because of the volumetric glasses you use for martinis that is a hell of a lot of liquor I was being gypped on. i got the triple berry cheesecake for the dessert, while jen got this miniscule amount of choclate mouse. So I got ripped off via liquor she felt they could have been more generous with the mouse. We were there a little early to see much of the band, we basicly got one song. But they had a drummer, who when he was like doing a little solo bit would like clench his face up, to imagine it try thinking of a face of someone who just had tequila straight up, mixed with some curry. Ran into Ron on the train, he had just finished his shift. So we talked a bit before I had to switch skytrains.

Also, I would like to take this posting to wish Emma a very happy birthday, I know you reading this Em. I also would like to apolagize because I won't be able to make it to your party mainly because I get off work at 930 and have to get up at roughly 730ish on saturday. Either way Happy Birthday and drink a pint for me.

So before I head off you should all watch this video, its Fashion Vombie from the Aquabats.
http://nitrorecords.com/video.php?video_id=12 (and if you like the song you can go to nitros page for them and download the mp3)
I showed this to Jen while she was over and we were both bopping to it.

Anway thats it for me tonight, I have more accounting to do tomorrow.
